Whether it be booting up the game, using the fast travel function to navigating menus, load times were pretty bad, and this is something that the PS5’s SSD has rectified.įiring up the game is now considerably faster and you won’t be forced to muck about in the loading screen for ages, while fast travelling to locations across the map is quicker too, ensuring you can get to where you need to go pretty sharpish. One of the most egregious issues of the PS4 version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was the load times. On Uplay you have achievements and for some you get U-credits, witch then you can use to get DLCs from Uplay Club or use for 20% discount Coupon for other Ubisoft game.As mentioned in my initial review, the characters aren’t anything special, but it’s the environments that really standout indeed, PS5’s extra technical muscle only further cements this opinion. You know this game is going be also on Uplay, Ubisoft store ? That $ never really went back to the Dev's, and that is going to be the case with all Ubisoft games from now on too. Look at the Gearbox/Take 2 situation with Borderlands 3. The extra $ the big publishers make from Epic will most likely just go to shareholders and CEO's anyway. I honestly just do not see the advantage for the Gamer. If I buy on Epic, I might just get the bun if I'm lucky. I buy on Steam and I get all the toppings like forums, reviews, achievements, marketplace, photo and video tools, various gamepad support, ., to top my "Burger". Yeah, but they taste different depending on where you buy it and how it's served. Which then, if you complain about it, people will be like "It's just a burger, it's even from the same cow!".

It's like Wanting to eat at Burger King, and being forced to get Mcdonalds. It really sucks as a Gamer, to be caught in the middle of all this "Platform War" crap.
